Evelina Bozhikova

1980: Graduated in law from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
1982: Admitted as a member of the Plovdiv Bar.
1993: Completed a specialisation in German corporate and trade law at “Wirtz&Kraneis”, one of the most prestigious law firms in Cologne, Germany.
2009: Member of the Business Expert Council of Plovdiv, taking an active part in the organisation’s efforts for a better business environment in the city.

Her practice is predominantly the legal protection of the corporate interests of companies and municipalities. She is actively involved in lawsuits for the appeal of administrative acts, where the judgments have not only private but also public interest implications. She also has significant and successful experience in tax law cases.

Fluent in German, with a good knowledge of English and Russian.

Neli Simeonova

1995: Graduated in law from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
1997: Admitted as a member of the Plovdiv Bar; she has practised as an attorney ever since.

Neli practises predominantly in the field of commercial and civil law, with an emphasis on corporate law, commercial transactions and insolvency, public procurement and concessions. She is experienced and successful in litigation before courts and arbitral institutions.

Marta Bozhikova

2004: Graduated in law from Sofia University “St. Kliment Ohridski”.
2005: Admitted as a member of the Plovdiv Bar. She then completed an LLM in European Union law at the University Carlos III of Madrid, followed by a postgraduate specialisation in competition law at the same university.
2006–2007: Worked as a trainee lawyer at the law firm O’Connor and Company in Brussels, Belgium.
2007–2008: From December 2007 to September 2008, deputy mayor of the Municipality of Plovdiv, responsible for European policies and international cooperation.
2008: In October she returned to legal practice and to the team of the firm.
2010: Lecturer at the workshop “EU legislative procedures and techniques”, part of a project to increase the capacity of the Legislative Council Directorate of the Ministry of Justice, financed by the Operational Programme “Administrative Capacity”.
2011: Since March, a member of the team of experts of the project “Preparation of a package of documents aimed at modernisation and development of a sustainable urban transport system in Plovdiv”, responsible for its legal aspects.

She specialises in EU law and funds, international law, corporate and competition law, and public procurement. She is the author of the publications of the firm.

Hristo Mateev

2005: Graduated in law from Plovdiv University “Paisii Hilendarski” and joined the team of the firm. Since October, a postgraduate student in the programme “Legal protection of intellectual property” at the Technical University of Sofia, Plovdiv branch.
2006: Admitted as a member of the Plovdiv Bar.

In the firm Hristo specialises in legal protection in spatial planning and construction procedures. He also practises corporate, civil and intellectual property law and is successfully involved in litigation before the state courts.

Fluent in English.
